struck by lightning Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

daz457: Struck by lightning has certainly lived up to its name. The local clay pigeon shooters decided to burn their spent cartridges at the base of the tree, unfortunately the cache went up in flames along with it, shame really this was one of my first ones to be placed.I have informed the owner of the TB that was placed in this cache of the situation, rather unfortunate really.

Geocache Description:

Located in Birky Brow Woods

The footpath joins Scotchman Lane and Howden Clough Road, passing through a leafy woods, suitable for children and dogs there are some muddy patches even in summer but generally accessible. The cache is well hidden at the base of a tree, the clue is in the name but if you require a further clue then contact me and I will be happy to enlighten you.You may lose signal in places but dont worry "just stick to the path" (didnt they say that in American Werewolf in London?)

You wont encounter any wolves in here though be assured. This cache was place with a double find in mind as it is not far from Kelly's Cache further along(if approaching from Howden Clough Road) or finding Kelly's Cache first if coming from Scothman lane.

There are a few small items for swaps, fruit machine token from years ago and conker among them!
