Geocache Description:

A hike with a rare ammo can cache at the end.

This is not a cache I would do in the winter or during a rainy spring. These roads are not plowed in the winter, and there is a good chance you will have no cell phone reception to call for help if you end up stuck. Even on a good day, I would take a truck, and not a car.

Parking is for a truck, if you are in a car, I would not recommend driving back in, but park at the bridge and make it a longer walk.

This cache is hidden on state game lands, so please abide by all rules and regulations that apply. Do not drive where you are not supposed to, and always wear your blaze orange during hunting season.

That all being said, this is a very pretty area and a good place to fish also. Bring a pole and a lunch and make a day of it. There is no need to bushwack at all, except the very last 20 feet to the find. Stay on the paths and it will take you right to the area, at one point your gps will tell you to cut into the weeds..hang in there and stay on the path instead.

The terrain 4 is due to the fact it is on a very back-woods road. Bring your camera though, because you can get some very nice pictures. The real find here is another 150 feet down the path. Don't be in a hurry and miss the real reason for this cache!

The gps was bouncing, and accuracy was about 27 feet...but any good, or even new cachers should be able to find this one!
