When this cache was originally placed an off-leash dog area was not here. Now there is, left the cache there but having a dog with you might make things easier.
This park located by the lake has parking and is quite nice.
Can see planes leaving/landing at Island airport, lots of boats around as well. Many dogs and muggles as usual though.
Climbing of trees is unnecessary, it is not that high up.
The park had a mass tree planting effort over 70 yrs. ago.
Mostly silver maples are found with the odd oak; among others.
Pretty easy to find cache, the main challenge is putting cache back hidden from muggles.
Please take care putting cache back so it remains hidden. Thanks!
Nov. 28th, 2009 went by location and now the cache is in a very large gated off-leash dog area. Nice if you have a dog, but may increase the muggle factor. Closed from midnight until 6am.
