Cache is .49 miles into deeply wooded area on edge national forest property. There are several approaches to the cache, but, each has very formidable terrain with steep hills. Elevation of cache is 522 ft. High adventure, awesome beauty and great phsyical challenge.
Tradtional ammo box cache with a "1st to find" cache item valued at $100.00. Other items included are arrow heads, small jewelry trinkets and other small items, along with log book. Hurricane Katrina's destruction is still evident, but, carry a camera - there is a certain beauty one detects from the clash of such natural beauty and the destruction left by the storm. Long pants and boots, as well as taking plenty of water are suggested. Even though cache is .49 miles into woods from several directions, it is still quite the challenge. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
