Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache that will take you to a beautiful Spot on the North side of the Island. I am pretty partial to this view because it’s what I see everyday when wake up when I’m home in "Old Man Bay".

This cache is dedicated to a young diver, Teresa Maria Howard. I don’t know much about her except that her family misses her and she is in their hearts and close to them always. I also know she died diving on one of my favorite dive spots (Babylon) on the 21st day (can't remember the month) in 1992 (hint, hint). It happened a few years before we bought our home over looking Babylon. I have heard many stories from the neighbors that lived here at the time and stories in Cayman sometimes take on a life of their own. I was told she and her boyfriend did a shore dive and they were trying to see who could go the deepest and she didn’t come back up. They search for her with helicopters for days, but all they found was her BCD (Buoyancy Control Device, for you non-divers). The listed coordinates will take you to spot they found the dive vest (BCD).
Say a little prayer for Teresa Maria Howard that she can rest in peace in one of the most beautiful spots on this earth. I like to think this cache is a way to keep a lost fellow diver’s memory alive.
If you see a big ship out there, it’s the Cayman Aggressor, The Aggressor has it’s own BIG buoy and spends most Sunday nights there before leaving for Little Cayman. There are also two smaller buoys for smaller dive boats, this is one of the favorite dive sites on the Island, most days it is too bumpy to get there by boat, so it is a real treat to get to dive BABYLON.
Have a look around GZ to find the missing (A & B) numbers, then do the subtractions below to get the Coordinates to the final stage.

To find the coordinates of the final cache
N 19° 20.XXX
W 081° 10.YYY
A: First number you find at GZ
B: Second number you find at GZ
835 - A = XXX
2423 - B = YYY
checksum: x+x+x+y+y+y = 21

Both stages are accessible by Kayak, that's how I put them in. If you don't have a kayak or small boat available you will have to find a spot to park and walk the beach to find the first stage of this cache. Please don’t walk through private property (where there are houses). Vacant lots are fair game. Wear good shoes, some places have rocks some sand. There are many spots that you can pull in, park and walk to the beach in this area. Just look for pathways that lead to the beach. There is one good one across from a little road called Rosebud Lane. Many divers use this one to shore dive Babylon. Go to the "On Line Maps" below and hit the "Google Maps" and you will see some pathways (small white lines) to the beach near the Babylon site.

The final stage has parking and is public. Bring a pen, just in case mine goes missing.
