Camoed plastic bottle with screw top hidden "in nature" along the newest segment of the wonderful single-track trail in Green Canyon.
At the time of placement the cache contains a travel bug.
And, if you hurry, you can catch sight of the rare intermittent stream in the creekbed. This is the first time we've observed water in that course in, oh, 20 years or so. 'Course, what with "climate change," it could become a regular occurrence. Or not.
Park at one end of the trail as it enters/departs the Green Canyon Road and "experience" the trail. But be ready to hop aside when a mountain biker alerts you.
Not getting your feet (or other parts if you're biking) wet may be problematic.
Precise GPS readings at the site may be challenging in this forested area, so be patient.
And be gentle with the cache. Replace it well, please.
Bogey got the FTF. How unusual!! Wonder if his "trip up" was back up to the top of the ridge. Wouldn't put it past him! Congrats, Bogey!!
