Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com!

Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

An ammo can located in what used to be Bishop's Trailer Park. The grass is grown up to where this cache is hidden. This is a family friendly cache with mostly kid items in the initial cache. Please recover the ammo well and be wary of snakes and other critters. This is my families property and you have our permission to search for this cache. If you are traveling on I-40 this cache is located roughly 2.7 miles off the interstate (exit 239) with about .5 miles on gravel.

Everyone called this Bishop's Trailer Park. Even me. However, in the phone book it was listed as Bishop's Trailer Court. I was always fond of that name. Over the years many people called this home, including me. This used to house ten or so trailers that were inhabited along with four or five trailers for storage and a few other buildings. Only two remain. While my dad was alive he helped a great many people. Most of the people who lived here moved in without jobs, vehicles and home furnishings. My dad would help people get back on their feet. From the time I started caching I knew I would hide an ammo can here. Depending on how well received this cache is i may place another in this lot. If you knew my dad (Carroll Bishop, Sr.), feel free to say a few kind words about him here, especially if he helped you in some way. My mom will probably check this listing from time to time and she would appreciate it and so would I. She tried to keep up the trailer park after my dad's passing, but it was obviously something he was gifted at. The last few years the trailer park has become vacant and the grass has grown up.
congratulations to grzz51 and mz_grzz on first to find!
