Geocache Description:

NB In conjunction with Geocaching rules & regulations the cache is NOT located in the tomb.

Set in Deer Park in Calry, Co. Sligo. Cache is set close to a Court Tomb dating back to around 3000 BC, give or take a few years!! Plenty of Car Parking at N54 16.918 W008 22.534. At the car park go round the barrier, up the track and take the first turn right at the information sign. This route will lead straight to the cache sight.
There is a second tomb a few minutes walk from the cache which can be accessed via a crossing point at the stone wall at N54 16.661 W008 22.864. This is well worth a visit. It is in a field which usually has livestock in it so please keep dogs on a lead. If you have time you can do the loop walk. As you leave the cache site turn right along the path and follow it alongside the wall, turning right at the next junction. Keep on the main path and even though your GPS will be pointing you in the other direction for the Car Park the path and your GPS will eventually become compatable. The round trip will take approximately 30 - 40 minutes. Watch out for tiny wild strawberries growing along the hedgerows. Enjoy.
