That's No Fence! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SearchinSwifts: This one had a good run, but I am shutting it down. The specific hiding spot had a tendency to get ridiculously overgrown, and the container kept migrating from one spot to another.

Time to free up the area for another cache!

Geocache Description:

Near a stormwater control pond, just off Langford St.

While walking past this pond last summer, we saw what we assumed was a large section of snow fence in the middle of the pond. That was before the "snow fence" started moving . . .

It turned out to be an enormous school of what we assumed were goldfish. Upon further observation, we spotted at least two other groups as well, each comprised of well over 200 fish! We haven't spotted them yet this year, but have a look for yourself.

Continuing on the theme that "things are not always as they seem", we have hidden this cache. The non-traditional hide object is about the size of a film canister, but the container is only large enough for a log sheet, so bring your own pen/pencil. Everything should be put back exactly as you found it, ready for the next person.

Congratulations to bggy for the (almost instantaneous) FTF!
