Kudos to StealthCowboy for FTF!
In 1991 the Foothills United Methodist Church's Youth Group
began an annual tradition of putting on an original musical comedy
as a combination fundraiser and way to teach the kids from the
junior and senior high youth groups to work together toward a
common goal.
This cache location is just outside of a somewhat hidden park in
El Dorado Hills near my residence. Having grown up playing and
watching soccer, and now coaching and watching my kids do the same,
this park is one of the locations where we get to spend many an
hour basking in the gentle Sacramento summer sun which has fried
enough brain cells to allow me and my wife to come up with new
ideas for the FUMC plays every year.
Note that the area around this cache has a substantial amount of
annoying stickers, as well as the possibility of slithering
wildlife. I have rated the terrain as such to account for this set
of annoyances. Recommend boots or similar footwear over exposed
socks or hairy legs with sandals. Don't say you weren't
warned!!
The sixth FUMC production, "Can't Buy Me Luck" was was the fifth
of the plays completely written from scratch by Gplamy and wife. It
was performed in the spring of 1996, and right away we met up with
Ringo, a poor musician who's luck was pretty rotten and followed
his adventures as he worked to get himself out of some pretty
desperate situations.
Each cache in this series will have information regarding the
characters of the Hero, Heroine, and Villan of that particular
play. Make a note of these character names when you find the cache,
as they will play a part in locating every fourth cache in this
series. Caches GC1VEE6, GC1VEF2, and GC1VEFV will all contain part
of the information necessary to locate GC1VEGR.
