Geocache Description:

UPDATE: Please note - the Bonus cache for this series is no longer available. It went missing and has been archived. From the recent logs, the clues to the bonus cache are damaged and unreadable. So, please just ignore the clues inside the cache!
I am living in Spain at the moment and hope to get someone to do a bit of maintenance on the series until I get back to the UK!

This series called ‘Head In The Clouds’ is a series of 7 caches, and 1 bonus cache. They are all set around the village of Singleton, and nearby Little Singleton.

I have given some of the caches in this series a terrain rating of 3, because a couple of caches are placed on a public footpath / farm track, which can be very muddy in winter, and gets quite overgrown, but passable, in the summertime. It will not be suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Also, the route crosses a very busy main road

The cloud Appreciation Society says that, ‘We believe that clouds are unjustly maligned and that life would be immeasurably poorer without them’, and that ‘ clouds are for dreamers and their contemplation benefits the soul’ (see www.cloudappreciationsocety.org for more!).

I hope that by doing this series (which is also my first I have set!), you will take time to ‘look up, marvel at the ephemeral beauty, and live life with your head in the clouds’. Enjoy!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each cache has a clue, and you will need to jot it down to get the co-ordinates for the bonus cache. You will also need to make sure you have a pen with you!

The series can be done as a circular route of approximately 3 miles.

# 4 - This is a small 35mm film canister with a brown top, containing log book only. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN REPLACING THIS - MAKE SURE IT WILL NOT FALL!

*PARKING - available in cul-de-sac - about 300 yards west of cache number 1, or a quick stop on the garage forecourt!
Also plenty of parking at cache number 7 and around Singleton village *
Main roads are very busy throughout the day, and is dangerous to stop by the roadside.Stopping is not recommended, especially if children are present!
