Geocache Description:

Tupperware cache on the Las Trampas ridge trail - with a nice view of Moraga down below.

This is the 7th in our "Redheads Give Back" series, in our effort to add to the local Danville/Alamo caching community. The GeoRedhead (GRH) family started caching in the summer of 2008, and we are hooked - over 400 and still counting!

Yes, that really is Moraga down there. OMG! We've oft looked at a map, and realized how close we were to Moraga. But to climb to the top of this ridge line, and see its back roads below is pretty darn cool.

We hid this on impulse - just over half way through a crazy loop we ended up doing on July 3rd. Camille Trailhead, up Madrone, past OK Coral, up to Las Trampas Ridge, then over Courdoroy Hills, back down Madrone. We didn't mean to go 11 miles - it just happened! There are far more direct ways to get here.

The cache is situated on the ridge line in between the 3 peaks, but not on the side with the view. It's less than 6 feet from the ridge trail, so the find should be simple. It's a small Tupperware container, log, pencil.
