The Heafford Junction Cache is located near the old intersection of
2 railroad tracks.
The old Milwaukee Road railroad track is now the Hiawatha State
Bike Trail and is the easiest way to get to this cache. Heafford
Junction is named after the old railroad depot agent.
There are now a number of caches along this trail making it a
worthy trek to get a number of geocaches in a short period of time.
This cache is in a green ammo box. Take care as approaching this
cache has a bit of a decline in slope.
