Geocache Description:

Ludwig Pettifogger proudly presents Sandemar Nature Reserve.

Sandemar Nature Reserve is a beautiful manorial landscape in the Municipality of Haninge. It is located near the Baltic coast, alongside the road from Haninge to Dalarö. The reserve is best known for the rich birdlife of the shoreline meadows west of Sandemar Manor, and for the finest rich fens in the Södertörn area, situated east of the manor. In the southwest section, there are treeclad points of land with rocky outcrops that make good swiming areas.

Sandemar Manor dates back from the 17th century and was one of the few such structures that was not laid waste when the Russian troops invaded in 1719.

From the hill Höggarnsberget, there is an excellent view in all directions and it is at this place you will find the cache.

Maybe the best way to find the cache is to follow the path from the parking place to N 59 07 597 E 018 21 272 and then head for the cache.

There is a goldmedal for the first cacher to find this cache.
