The first thing you are going to do is ignore this listing if it's the middle of the summer but read the whole thing first and think about it!! the third installment of the "How AMMOcan you be" series and the third cache that we have placed on the 100/200 trails here in the phoenix mountain preserve. we "heart" ammo cans
This is an ammo can, which is described as a size three, but it is the largest ammo can i have ever seen and to prove our point: the ftf prize for this cache is an AMMO CAN. yes that's right you to can "heart" an ammo can today. Let me be clear, the first person to find this cache and make the trek out here gets to take the relatively small ammo that is INSIDE this big ammo can and go make a new cache. This cache is a container swap cache. If you find it we ask that you leave a cache container such as a pill bottle or a mint container and then you can take a container. please do not take a container unless you leave one. There are other trade items in here including a couple of cache logs and some baggies. The log book in this cache is a bright striped orange book that has the name of the cache on it so please don't sign anything else. please put the cache back the way you found it and cover it with well with rocks. furthermore, Myself and my wife would be more than happy to accompany you or help you in some other way placing a cache after you retrieve a container so give us an email if you would like our help. our other suggestion is we want more caches in this area so before you leave you can place a cache. about .1 east and slightly north you will find a larger outcropping that has red gravel leading to its top. This and many other places out here would make an amazing hiding place. congratulations gpatocha on your first to find .. even though you didn't take the ammo can =) congratulations to southpawaz on your free ammo can i hope we see a hiking cache from you soon.
