Meadowvale Nature Park is an area that has been recognised for its unique environmental values
The park is approximately 63 hectares and provides opportunities for the community to enjoy passive recreational pursuits. It is situated approximately 11 kilometres from the Bundaberg town centre on , Rosedale Road, Meadowvale.
As part of the Bicentennial Celebrations in 1988 it was declared a Nature
Park.The area was viewed as land virtually unchanged since settlement. The Meadowvale community has raised concerns about the park area since the early 80’s. After much volunteer work and Federal 1988 bicentennial funding, the Meadowvale Nature Park was opened on 11 December 1988.
In the 2007 Tidy Towns Awards, the Meadowvale Nature Park received the
Environmental Protection Award Regional Winner prize.
There are numerous walking tails in the park, Taking you on a nice leisurely stroll along the river banks.
