Geocache Description:

The 8th in a series of Caches on a 5 mile walk on bridleways near Badbury Rings

This is a series of 16 Traditional Caches which contain clues to allow you to find the final (bonus cache).

The caches are a variety of sizes.

There are 4 X 35mm film containers but the remainder of the caches range in size from 0.2l to 2l clip and lock boxes. All containers are sited close to the bridleway and at no time is it required to cross fences or to enter private land. The route passes through National Trust land and is close to the sensitive sites at Badbury Rings and Kingston Lacey, though none are placed on those properties.

It is necessary to cross the busy B3082 to reach the walk, please take extreme care and look after both children and animals.

I have cycled the route and it is extremely cycle friendly. Most of the route is on wide gravel paths and I believe it would be accessible to off road type wheelchairs and buggies in good weather. In the last 1.5 miles though the terrain changes mostly to grass and I suspect this would make it very difficult for wheelchairs and buggies, especially after wet weather. Wheelchair users will require help with many of the grabs.
