Op Hemelvaartsdag kan het zijn dat het niet mogelijk is de cache te doen, doordat er een evenement in het dorpscentrum plaats vindt.
Boekel is een mooi dorp zonder stadse pretenties, de mensen zijn er nuchter, maar gezellig en zijn altijd tot een praatje bereid.
Enkele jaren geleden werd landelijk bekend gemaakt dat De contente mens in Boekel woont en dit jaar (2009) is Boekel uitgeroepen tot Veiligste gemeente van Nederland .
Deze cache neemt je mee door het dorp en zijn veelzijdigheid, je vind hier woongebieden en groen heel dicht bij elkaar. Met wat cultuur en natuur voor de ouders en speelplekken voor de kids, zodat het hele gezin een leuke middag/avond kan hebben.
Om te beginnen parkeer je de auto bij bovenstaand coördinaat, van hier uit wandel je naar WP 1 op N 51° 36.416 - E005° 40.520.
Het straatje waarin je nu staat is een inbreidingslocatie die pas in 2006 gerealiseerd is. Daardoor zijn hier oude bomen, maar ook jonge aanplant te vinden.
Twee dieren die vaak bij bomen te vinden zijn, zijn hun huis kwijt en zitten nu op een onnatuurlijke plek, wat voor dieren zijn dit?

Ga nu verder naar WP2 op N51° 36.3A1 - E005°A0.357.
Hier staat de Boekelse standerdmolen. De molen is gebouwd ergens halverwege de 17e eeuw en dus een behoorlijk oud beestje. Het gemaal is echter pas in de 19e eeuw naar Boekel verplaatst, toen Peter Klefas hem aankocht, deze kraste zijn naam in 1875 in één van de balken. Nu is de molen eigendom van de gemeente Boekel en al jaren een punt van discussie. De molen staat op een prachtig punt in het dorp, maar kan niet draaien vanwege de omliggende gebouwen. Er liggen plannen om de molen enkele meters te verplaatsen, zodat de vrijwillige molenaar zijn werk weer kan uitvoeren, maar hier is natuurlijk veel geld voor nodig&
Op de molen zie je vanaf dit waypoint twee gekleurde cirkels. Hoeveel vakjes zitten er in de cirkels samen? Dit aantal = B

Dit beeld is aan de gemeente aangeboden ter gelegenheid van de opening van een zaak.
Tel de cijfers in de datum bij elkaar op en herleid dit getal tot 1 cijfer, dit is C.

Je staat nu bij twee stukken uit de geschiedenis van Boekel, het ene object stamt uit 2006, het andere is meer dan 100 jaar ouder.
Deel het jaartal waaruit het pad dateert door het aantal gouden medailles in Sydney, dit is D.

Dit beeld is geplaatst ter ere van het 100 jarig bestaan van de NCB in Boekel
De woordwaarde van de achternaam op het beeld is E (LET OP: lees geen Y, maar IJ).

Je staat nu in een mooi klein stukje bos binnen de bebouwde kom van Boekel, lekker om even tot rust te komen.
Op het huisje staat een zes cijferig getal, tel het tweede en laatste cijfer bij elkaar op, dit is F.

Ook hier kunnen de kinderen weer even los , mocht je toevallig een bal in je rugzak hebben is dit helemaal ideaal.
Je vindt hier twee metalen objecten, tel het aantal kruisen in de constructie van het object het dichtst bij het waypoint. Dit aantal is G.

Nog een plek voor de jeugd, maar om te voorkomen dat het een hangplek wordt zijn bepaalde voertuigen verboden op het terrein. Het aantal specifiek genoemde voertuigen is H.

Je loopt hier op de grens van bebouwd gebied en landbouwgebied.
Tel op dit waypoint de betonnen palen, dit is I.

In de poort waarvoor je nu staat is gesmeed dat de eigenaren van het leven houden. Uit hoeveel letters bestaat deze Latijnse uitdrukking? Dit is J. Momenteel ontbreken de letters, dus krijg je hier het antwoord: J=10

Nu ben je in het in april 2007 opengestelde natuurgebiedje De Perekker, waar veel informatie over alles wat hier gaande is, te vinden is.
Wij zijn op zoek naar het aantal weken dat de vrouwtjesbijen niks anders doen dan werken, voordat ze dood gaan. Dit is K.

Ga bij de lantaarnpaal staan met het Speelterrein bord, peil dan op hoeveel graden het enige speeltoestel in deze speeltuin staat.

Een plek als deze doet het ook altijd goed bij de kleintjes, neem wat oud brood mee voor extra kinderpret&

Projecteer vanaf hier het volgende waypoint op HC(K-F)° en A(F+I)(M-I) meter.
We hebben nu alles uit de naam van deze cache gezien: beelden, voortuinen, speeltuinen, tuinbouw, noem maar op. Bij wat voor soort tuin sta je nu?

De cache ligt op een groene plek waar ik als klein kind nogal eens speelde, en dus goede herinneringen aan heb.

This cache may not be possible to complete on Ascension Day, due to an event in the town centre.
Boekel is a nice village without pretending to be more than it actually is, the people are down to Earth and always willing to chat.
Some years ago it was announced nationwide that "The Satisfied Man" lives in Boekel and this year (2009) Boekel was declared "The Safest Community in The Netherlands".
This cache takes you on a trip through the town and its versatility, you'll find residential areas and nature close to one another. Culture and nature for the parents and some playgrounds for the kids, to entertain the whole family for the afternoon/evening.
For starters park your car near the coords above, and from here go to WP 1 op N 51° 36.416 - E005° 40.520.
The little street where you are now has only been realized in 2006, that is why you'll find old trees here, but young ones as well.
Two creatures, that can often be found near trees, have lost their home and now sit at an unnatural spot, what animals are they?

Now proceed to WP2 op N51° 36.3A1 - E005°A0.357.
This is where the only mill in Boekel stands. The mill was built somewhere halfway the 17th century, which makes this a pretty old fellow. The pumping station wasn't moved to Boekel before the 19th century, however, when Peter Klefas bought it. This man scratched his name in 1875 in one of the beams. Nowadays the mill is owned by the municipality and it has been a reason for many discussions. The mill stands on a beautiful location in the village,but it can't rotate because of the surrounding buildings. Plans have been made to relocate the mill, several metres towards the street, thus giving the miller his voluntary work back. One of the biggest drawbacks of this plan, off course, are the costs.

This statue was offered to the community when a business opened in the village.

Divide the year from which the path dates by the number of gold medals in Sydney, this is D.

This statue was placed in honour of the 100 birthday of the NCB in Boekel.
The word value of the surname on the statue is E (Att: Read IJ, NOt Y).

You are now in a small patch of woods close to the centre of town, nice to relax for a little while.

Another place for the Young 'uns, but to prevent this from becoming a place where adolescents show off their pimped vehicles, while revving the engine, certain vehicles are "off limits" on the playground. The number of specifically mentioned vehicles is H.
