I picked up this cache container from a Blue Blazes geocache in Lake Charles called Blue's Babies, so this cache has been named according to his suggested naming convention. The rest of the name has to do with the fact that when this shopping center was first built, there was a Safeway Grocery in this building -- Safeway #947 to be exact. During my college days, I worked here for 5 years as a stocker, checker and courtesy booth worker. I started the day the store opened in March of 1977 and fondly remember some fun times, but boy did we work hard! Some of my former co-workers and I remain friends with to this day. The store eventually closed and the building was used for a while as a party / events center, but now sits empty. Kinda sad to see it deteriorate like this.

The original blue bison tube was lost, so now you're looking for a small key hider. Please watch for muggles and return the cache just the way you found it.
