Geocache Description:

In the heart of Exeter's Riverside Valley St James Weir, now Salmon Pool Weir, was built across the river in the late 14th century by the Courtenay Family to serve the Wear Mills in the Manor of Topsham. The weir represents the tidal limit of the River Exe. The pool below the weir is called Salmon Pool, a great fishing area with the locals. You may have to use stealth as this spot is a muggle favourite.
