Geocache Description:

This Geo Cache is located in one of the spiritually friendly cemetaries I have ever been in.

The Glenwood Pitch In Cemetary has some of the oldest gravestones in Iroqouois County. Many believe it to be haunted and I tend to agree. Not haunted in a scary way but a gentle, kind of way. I used to mow this cemetary as a kid and many times felt people watching me while I trimmed or mowed. This cemetary holds many who passed from the scarlet fever and there are a number of young children buried here. Maybe that is why it feels so friendly. Among some of those buried here are Civil War veterans. Please, Please be respectful and gentle out here. It has been abused over the years but it is still a beautiful place. Make sure to look for the ground level stone of "Potts" near the south-west corner that has the same epitath as Benjamin Franklin's headstone. It is almost covered in wild plants and flowers.

This cashe is best tracked if done during the day, but evening time and dusk will give you a real treat.
Enjoy this place. I always do and let me know if you get any "feelings."

** NOTE** Due to the movement of this cache, (due to some ornery spirits?!?!) I have replaced it into a new location with a slightly more secure way of placing it. However, I would not be surprise if this cache gets moved about again. Please do so if you find it someplace other than where it should be. It is a magnetic key holder, so it should be less likely to be moved by unknown sources.
