Just learned about these trails while riding my horse. Picked this spot for the view. You can see all the way to Sacramento and it is a great place to watch the sunset :D Dropped the terrain rating back down due to suggestion and the addition of more caches that get you close!
It's is accessible from the Folsom Lake trails but the most logical parking is off Lomida (not Sterling Point). If you have a horse bring it along there is even parking for trailers. :) There is PO in the area but it is avoidable. If you explore the area a bit more there are great views of the lake too!! It is an ammo box with typical cache trinkets. Happy hunting :) We will be placing more soon and if you use the area please please NO MORE MICRO'S in all this open space!!!!! We upped the Terrain Rating as suggested due to the many trails you can take to get NEAR the cache :D
