This cache has been archived.

status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located in a reserve that has a close connection with a number of famous rabbits.

The cache has been placed with the knowledge of the reserve caretakers. They said to ignore the NO ENTRY sign on the gate near a parking area. The sign pertains to MOTOR VEHICLES only.

Remember, the reserve is open only during daylight hours.

The cache was placed and named by our Grandson Bryn. This area of the reserve is one of our favorite places to "explore". From his comment, "Wow, that looks like a buffalo skull", came the hiding place and name.

The cache can be reached from a number of directions, is located near a forest road junction and is about 75 metres or so South of the junction.

Please, be a good buffalo hunting Sioux, Cheyenne, Arapaho or Comanahe and cover your tracks to and from the cache site.

The trees should be no problem with GPS reception.

The cache is a camo-painted, screw-top container with the usual log book, pencil and some tradeable items.
