Cammo'ed Peanut Butter Jar
This cache is placed at the aid station, Siskiyou Gap, at a junction of the Pacific Crest Trail and Forest Service Road 20. The aid station is for The Siskiyou Outback 50k Marathon which is near the middle of the race in the Siskiyou Mountains north of California and south of Ashland Oregon.
This cache will not be available during the winter when there is snow and the road is closed. The elevation at the cache is approx. 6,000 feet. If you start up the mountain and encounter snow, STOP. There is a good chance you will get stuck if you don’t have the proper vehicle and or a backup plan. They may look harmless but mountains in the winter time can be very dangerous.
