This is likely the hardest, toughest terraine you may come across while Geocaching!! Give yourself 4 hours to do it and be sure to take a buddy with you.
Your journey will begin by having to cross the Little Pic River, you can access it best from the privincial park boat launch, however you can launch from the north side of the highway bridge. From the Park boat launch its a direct paddle across, but if you launch from the North side of the highway bridge you will have to paddle down river. Once on the other side of the river you will have to climb a steep hill to the crack enterance which is just west of the train tressel bridge. DO NOT cross the train tressel bridge, it is illegal!!! Use extreme caution to cross the train tracks and enter the crack at N 48 47.626 W 086 37.869. Once in the crack you are comitted to going to the top as it will be near impossible to get back out the enterance. Once in the crack, just keep walking till you come out the top. There is plenty of room to stand and stretch in the crack, but you should have good footwear to make the climb, take your time. Once at the top, out of the crack, take the path to the left which will take you to some smooth rock, from here enjoy the view!!!
The Cache is hidden at the head of the trail that will take you back down the mountain. DO NOT go back down through the crack!!!. The trail down takes you down the valley between the two rock cuts. This trail is very rough too and still has that 5 rating for difficulty. Once down the moutain cross the tracks with caution and make your way back to your boat.
The Cache is a large container with a blue lid..... after that climb we don't want to see any do not finds!!!
