Pagode Thien Minh
Français => Endroit plutôt insolite au cœur de Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, la pagode de Thien Minh est un temple bouddhiste construit entre 1985 et 1990 grâce à des contributions de la communauté vietnamienne.
Inaugurée en mai 1990, elle constitue un lieu de culte et de rassemblement de la communauté asiatique. Un endroit chargé d’exotisme avec son jardin vietnamien, qui ne vous laissera guère indifférent.
Cette pagode bien que récente à été détruite en grande partie par un incendie en juin 2006. Elle est désormais reconstruite et retrouve son type d’architecture, combinaison entre tour de guet à étage de la Chine de la dynastie Han et du stoupa indien.
English => A rather unusual place in the heart of Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, Thien Minh Pagoda is a Buddhist temple built between 1985 and 1990 with contributions from the Vietnamese community. Inaugurated in May 1990, it is a place of worship and assembly of the Asian community. An original place with exotic garden Vietnamese, which dont let you indifferent. This pagoda although recent was largely destroyed by fire in June 2006. It is now rebuilt and restored to its type of architecture, combining the watchtower on the floor of China's Han Dynasty and the Indian stupa.
