Geocache Description:

A 6 stage multicache in Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area dedicated to JinxMagic.

I started seriously geocaching in 2006 and initially I kept seeing the distinct "JinxMagic" signature. It sometimes felt like we were following each other around. I guess the geocaching gods wanted us to meet because separately we both planned to do the same night caches on 8/18/06. That first meeting turned into an adventure and many have followed. I have spent the most time (except my sister), had the most fun with, and have the most memories of caching with JM. The stages of this cache are all reminiscences of geocaches I have found with JM . All stages are meant to be relatively easy (use the hints to help if needed).

Now for the stages:

#1 White UV (Night Only) GCRA1Q found 8/18/06: I met JM for the first time. My first adventure with them ended in the middle of a cornfield. I do not need to say any more then that.

#2 The General GCB9B found 9/15/07: Found many old and memorable caches that day. For the first time I thought I might kill one or both of them with the hike up the mountain.

#3 Zero Stops a Week GC13MD7 found 8/2/08: I once found 98 caches in a day solo and mentioned a few times that I wanted to find 100 caches in a day. This was one of the caches I did to meet that goal (117 finds) with JM and Manitto.

#4 Psycho Urban Cache #5 - Brief and Bizarre Descent GCQA4C found 11/1/08: We did quite a few in the PUC series that day and some were better. However, this one left a different kind of memory. It started with rotten fruit and ended with well you will see....

#5 Hickory Run CCC GPS Tour GC1PPJ7 found 6/27/09: I entered the final coords incorrectly in my GPS (payback I guess for Magic doing the same earlier in the day) taking us through the thick underbrush to the middle of nowhere. Did finally reach the final and Jinx was so fixated on the cache he did not see the huge water tower. So much for cachers being organized and observant.

FINAL: Cryptography Lesson #5 (Cache is Not Here) GCRE86 found 11/1/08: In 2008 I discovered the Fizzy Challenge Caches and I decided I needed to find a cache of every difficulty/terrain rating. After the day of searching for the Psycho Urban Caches we took the "short" detour from Maryland to Virginia to pick up this cache. This one was important in the quest as it was my 81st of 81 difficulty/terrain ratings. It was only fitting that JM were along. There is nothing special about this cache container or any puzzle. It is representative of the cache in that it is an ammo can.

***NOTES ***

1. This cache is a 3.5 mile roundtrip hike on well established trails.

2. All stages are just off the trail except the final which is about 150' off the trail. The stage containers may seem strange but all have meaning to the caches they represent.

3. Remember to use the hints if you are having troubles as they should narrow your search area.

4. There is something in the cache marked "JinxMagic". Please leave it for them when they find the cache.

5. There is a unactivated coin for the FTF. JM should leave this for the STF if they happen to be FTF.

6. The cache is contained within State Game Lands. Therefore, please wear the appropriate orange attire.

Some may wonder the meaning behind the title of this cache. In our adventures I have heard JM say "they're good people" when referring to other cachers. So in their own words; they're good people!
