Geocache Description:

The cache is located few kilometers from Saudarkrokur, find the park location and follow the gravel road to the lonely lighthouse in Utanverdunes, its a 30 min walk to the lighthouse.

The cache is located by the lonely lighthouse in Utanverdunes, its build 1936. Follow the gravel road to the lighthouse. Its forbidden to drive to the lighthouse (sign on the fence). Don't try to open the gate, try to climb over the old fence. Horses are quick to find if there are open gates, and will make problems on the main road. From the lighthouse you go to the tip of the peninsula, there you will see a small pile of stones (milestone), usually covered in white birdshit! If you find it, you are very close. Check out the bird life, usually a small number of auks stay there. There is a small group of horses that will visit you if you take a small brake to drink coffee.
