The Dark Side of Schloßberg is a night cache. Bring a headlight or a torch along with you. In case you manage this cache during daytime I have done something wrong. You'll need 1h at most for the whole walk.
1. stage: At this stage you will find a long micro container with a note in it. There you'll find 2 questions to answer about the Schloßberg. Therefore be prepered!
2. stage: Once you have answered the questions from stage 1 you'll get the starting coordinates for your walk. At this point there is still a lot of artificial light, well take the path which in your eyes is best suited for a night cache. If you feel like it is dark enough switch on your lights and search for a reflector. Follow the path from reflector to reflector. But also have a closer look at the reflectors, at some there is a number written on them. Write down the numbers according to their appearance. The last reflector has a special shape, at this point you should have gathered 8 numbers - Well done!
3. and final stage: Now put together all numbers according to the following format:
N47° 0A.GEC' E 015° 2B.HFD'
where A is the first number you collected, B the second, and so on.
I gave it a long thought whether this cache is suited for kids or not, here my recommendations: Stage1 will be to difficult in terrain as well as difficulty. Stage2&3 should be no problem (for age >8 years?), but please consider that it can get late.
Winter: The cache is not recommended during snowy/icy periode.
