Summer's in full swing, and the CCC event will be heading outdoors
for our August get together. This month's event will be held at
Riverfront Park in Glastonbury. As with the previous outdoor get
together, this one will also be BYOPD (Bring your own Picnic
Dinner). There is a covered pavilion, so we can still get together
whether rain or shine. Main Street in Glastonbury offers plenty of
places to pick up food on our way to the park if needed. Since it
gets dark around 9pm, and there arent any lights wanted to start
the event earlier than usual at 6pm.
Coordinates are for the park entrance. The pavilion is down on
the right with plenty of parking nearby.

Raine or shine, it's covered
The park entrance is located at N 41° 42.780 W 072° 36.739. If
you have children, there's a nice gravel path where they can ride
their bike. Plus, there's plenty of room to play Frisbee, soccer or
just run around in the huge, grass field.
The Central CT Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering on the
first Tuesday of every month, held in a new and exciting place
every time. Mark your calendars now! Everyone is welcome to
attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't
have to be an experienced cacher…new folks are most welcome! Let us
know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted.
This event features new or rotating hosts every month. If you have
an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone.
As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy
and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a numbers of
places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks.
Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be
within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from
outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that
the event itself be held in the central Connecticut area.
