Another fine event, with lessons in technology, and a Sky tour!

Cache A Star!

August 15th, 2009 1pm to 5 pm

Once again the SCGA is hosting a fine event for all geocachers, and anyone interested in geocaching. Fegan will be giving a few lessons in Geocaching 102 with courses in GSAK, using the fancy new GPS units, and all the rigamarole involved in going paperless!

Capn-Jack, who happens to work very near the coordinates, will be presenting a tour of the night sky, as only such a nutcase can give a tour of the night sky!

We'll also have some tables for coins, pins, and the like. Of course the usual frivolity and merrymaking will be provided (by you all)

The event will start at 1pm on August 15th, and conclude at 5 pm. There are rumors afoot that an evening meal event will follow, and all are invited back once it gets dark to use the telescope!
