Geocache Description:

Well, the gas gauge on my 1970 Bug is not quite accurate and I usually write down the odometer reading to know when I need to fill up. I guess my calculations were a bit off 'cause on the way to take Sophia to the Bandix Dog Park I ran out of gas. I called my son for some help and while I was waiting for him to come to the rescue, I took Sophia for a walk and discovered a little path into the nearby woods. Just inside the trees I found a really cool 7 armed cedar and some beautiful big firs and at the end of the little path was a creek and the remains of an old foot bridge. I decided to place a cache to commemorate my misadventure and hid a small lock and lock at the Siamese twin tree: a fir and a cedar joined at the base.
There are coords for where to park--a big enough shoulder for a car and it's not a busy road. Look for the small trail into the woods where the path is. There are 2 and they are about half way between the speed limit sign and the power pole on the east side of the street.
Just be sure to get gas before you come!
