Geocache Description:

Part of a series of caches, named after festivals, fairs and celebrations that you might find in India.

This February festival occurs near Mumbai (Bombay) on Elephanta island, famous for it's intricately carved caves. Held under the stars, the festival is a characterised by lots of music and dance by the local ethnic groups.

If you are going from here to Holi, keep walking until you hit the gate and road. Cross the road and go down the farm track opposite for a few hundred meters. When the road bends to the left and you see a sign that says 'Private', you need to go straight on. You should see the right of way but it's not signposted and may be slightly overgrown.
