Not too long ago this road used to make it all the way to the round-a-bout. Now the only thing you'll find here is a dead end and The Country Day School.
The school was founded in 1987 by people that believed in creating a learning environment in which children's learning could take place both within the classroom and out in the world, particularly in natural outdoor settings. It has since grown from 7 students to 170, ranging from pre-K to 8th grade. As they get older, the students go from being Investigators, to Explorers, Globetrotters, Voyagers and eventually Navigators. Sounds like it was made for mini geocachers!
Please be respectful of the school kids/parents/staff and park away from the gate and avoid when school is starting/ending. Also DO NOT attempt this one from Old Monrovia Rd.
Updated size (as of Fall 2023) - my sad and defunct micro has been replaced with a much nicer mason jar thanks to a geo friend! Also updated the terrain rating based on reviews. Sounds like this is a lot more overgrown now (with a lot more traffic nearby) than when I originally placed it in 2009!
