Geocache Description:

Ssssnakes!!!

Please join us for the 9th annual GGA Snake Presentation.
Once again Dr. Mark Patterson with the Georgia Herpetological Society will entertain and inform us about our wonderful reptile friends.
This is truly an "up close and personal" experience with snakes of all sorts. Learn the facts and fiction about how to tell a venemous creature from one that is not, and what to do if you have an unfortunate encounter with a poisonous snake. Dr. Patterson also shares statistics that are far less shocking than what you would think.

The meeting will be held Saturday August 8, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the beautiful Little Mulberry Park in Auburn, GA. Come early and enjoy the hiking / biking trails as well as the caches in the park.

Although there will be no charge for the pavilion rental, we will pass the hat to collect an honorarium for our presenter.
