Geocache Description:

They are now rebuilding the bridges on the CT end of the trail. It would be best to do it in the off hours or on weekends for the time being. When they start on the second bridge there will not be a way around it.

Off the new rail trail in Southwick,MA. Parking is where the new rail trail crosses route 168, N42 01.062 W72 46.272.

The terrain rating is high because there are trails and faint trails up to the cache location, but its up to YOU to find them!

Cache container is a small lock and lock.

While riding the new rail trail the other day I spotted the new sign about this area and knew it needed a cache. This area is a old sand pit with alot of quad and dirt bike trails even though it has been and is still posted against them.

From the cache location you can get a small water view off in the distance. It is not Goose Pond you can see. Goose Pond is more or less now a swamp.

There will be 2 more caches nearby that are waiting to be approved.
