When thinking of a location for a cache, my husband, Larry, suggested Lizard Mound Park. This park has always been a favorite for area school field trips with the well maintained trails, Indian burial mounds, information signs and abundant wildlife. There is ample parking available in the parking lot.

This park is a sacred area, so please be respectful. Enjoy your time here and please stay on the trails until you have to bushwack.
Lizard Mound Park is open daily from 6am to 9pm and only from April 1 thru November 14. It is closed for the rest of the year.
