Geocache Description:

Park at the south boat landing for this cache. The terrain is level and generally dry but it is likely seasonally wet. There are no marked trails but there are trails left by fishermen and geocachers. The cache container is cammo covered tupperware.

Spring Lake is a beautiful 37.5 acre drainage lake. It even boasts a pair of nesting bald eagles. Unfortunately, like many other drainage lakes, it suffers from high levels of phosphates and other chemicals which degrade what it might otherwise be.

Note--the poor little mouse has a stomach bug. Perhaps someone will remove it.

(The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to and signed by Thomas Meronek of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.)
