Warning: ticks, bear and cougar live and feed here -
don't be lunch.
There is a large tree growing at the highest point of land
(1136m) in the CRD. A camo 1 litre lock-n-lock is placed at the
base of the tree under a couple rocks. A baby tree guards the hide
and wears a piece of orange coloured binding twine to make for an
easy find.
Length of hike is very dependent on vehicle clearance and
owner's tolerance of nature's pin stripping.
No digging, or rearranging of Nature's beauty is required; you
may have to huff and puff to get to the cache location, but this
should be an easy find. Have fun! Please post pictures if you
can.
BTW: We didn't notice the open gate at N48° 39.240'
W124° 22.710' when we drove in. It was locked closed when we
left; fortunately there was room to drive around; be sure you are
not locked in.
