They say that if you sit at New York's Bethesda Fountain for long
enough ... the entire city will pass by.
Although you won't find a fountain at this location, if you sit at
this spot for long enough you may just see all of Snow Hill pass
by!
Thirty-nine years ago, W.W. Pusey purchased this Southern States
franchise with the purpose of supplying feed and farm supplies to
local farmers. The business has since been converted to a country
store and is managed by W.W.'s son and daughter.
The cache that you seek (a large lock-n-lock) replaces a traveling
cache that was once at this location. Some cacher friends gave us
the current container when we found our first 1,000 caches. At the
time, we were known as the "7Searchers" and our friends filled this
container with 7 each of 7 different items.
This cache was placed with the manager's permission.
In fact, they may just help you find it!
Feel free to sit in comfort and sign the log ...
and watch all of Snow Hill passing by.
