"We Did." Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

gimpy13: Sadly this cache just kept getting muggled so I'm archiving it. Good luck to the next person who tries to put a hide in this park. It needs one!

Geocache Description:

A short stroll through a well tended urban woodland park brings you to a nice big TB and Geocoin Hotel.

Special FTF prize to kick off this hotel is, appropriately enough, a geocoin. It's an un-activated 2006 West Palm Beach beauty.

2/19/2010 This cache has a new container and it has been relocated within the same park. New coordinates have been posted.

The container is now PAINTED with CAMO colors and it is a little smaller than the original but still plenty big to hold things..

The old container was vandalized. Grrrrr.

Big congrats to Manofsteel73 for another FTF - I knew it would be one of three people - and you were one of them. Good hunting!

My husband and I were married on the side of Blue Mountain out in far West Texas. It was just about as romantic as romantic can be. In honor of our upcoming anniversary and the street you'll find this park on, West Tex, I've created a dry, safe place for a weary traveler to take a rest. Since I-10 crosses the entire country from Florida to California, this is sure to be a place that gets a lot of geocachers driving by!

You're going to discover a totally hidden park that very, very few people even know exists. It only came into being within the last couple of years, thanks to the I-10 widening. The vegetation is native to the area, and I ask that you please don't tear any of it up. The cache box is not camo'd. When you see it, you'll know it. Please hide as well as or better than you found it, and CLOSE ALL FOUR LOCKS.

Park hours are SUNRISE to SUNSET. This park backs up on people's homes so please be respectful. Also, you're going to be in Spring Valley and under the jurisdiction of the Spring Valley Police Department so - please be respectful!
