Geocache Description:


This marker at this location marks the flood height reached by floodwaters on the night of 20th November 2000. Enquiry of Nundle District Pioneering Families indicate that flood levels reached during the flood event are the highest at this location and with in the township of Nundle pertaining to the period of European Settlement in the district.
The concrete bridge replaces a timber structure which was completely washed away in the event.
