Emma's Picnic Party (30) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lindinis: This cache has been unavailable for some time and as the owner has not given any indication whether it is being repaired/replaced I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "As the cache owner, you are also responsible for physically checking your cache periodically, and especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to hunt for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable time - normally a few weeks - in which to arrange a visit to your cache. In the event that a cache is not being properly maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

This cache is situated on the Bristol to Bath cycleway, not far from Bitton Steam Railway Station. Parking is at the Railway Station although in the summer it can be very busy.

Avon Valley Railway (or alternatively known as Bitton Railway) has plenty of parking and push chairs/prams are able to be pushed down the track from the railway station as far as picnic site (1.5miles)- it is just before a bridge that crosses over the River Avon. A path (zig zag type) just before the bridge drops down to the right hand side to a small picnic area, head towards under the bridge,

(IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN WITH YOU BE VERY CAREFULL, AS ITS CLOSE TO THE RIVER)

Look for a small track off to the left, leading up towards a red brick building.
