This series combines our love of caching with our keen awareness of Illinois politics! As you follow along you will be in the neighborhood where our own “Accidental Governor” lives. We won’t take you to his residence as the security detail might not like that. We will take you to places that he may visit.
Patrick Joseph Quinn III is the 41st Governor of Illinois. He was sworn into office on January 29, 2009, after his predecessor was impeached by the Illinois House and convicted by the Illinois Senate.
In the heart of the neighborhood, this spot requires STEALTH. The watching eyes of the neighbors tell you that they suspect there is a celebrity in their midst – they’re just not sure who it is! Since he has lived nearby for more than two decades, they can’t figure out if the Accidental governor is really the same guy who lives down the street.
Stealth is necessary in this urban setting. Please bring your own writing utensil!
