Along the road into Pine Mountain Club, there are many places to pull off and take short hikes. This one is really short, but you can travel farther up this dry riverbed (in the summer). Park in the pull-out.
A little bit of information about a very majestic looking tree in Pine Mountain Club. Around the corner from this cache you can see one of the largest Ponderosa Pines in California. Somewhere between 600-1000 years old! This tree is clearly visible from Mil Potrero Hwy, 1/4 East of the PMC sign. There actually is a trail that gets you close to this tree but it is a little tricky to get to (Not right off the Mil Potrero Hwy.) We will save that information for another day and another possible cache in the future.
