Have you ever lost a button? I have and it just plain sucks. I
get tired of having to search for and hunt down and sow back on
buttons that have popped off or just gone missing. So I had this
theory. Have you ever heard of the Button Gnomes? Well they exist.
Some call them the Button Gremlins. One day I put out this huge bag
of buttons to see what would happen. Lo and Behold, late one night,
I saw these little creatures sneak into the room, clamber on top of
the table where the button stash was placed and before I could
blink an eye the little creatures were off and scampering away with
my bag of buttons. Can you help me find them? If you do happen to
find them you can take a button if you feel the need because I know
what it is like to loose a button and you can't find one that will
match or work. So take a button if you need one ~OR~ bring a few
buttons and drop em off. Who knows - someone else might need a
button too.

PS. A Note of Warning. Open this container VERY carefully
because the contents my spill and scatter and cause great - amusing
- but great chaos.. The container is fairly large and but it has
little space left. Place only coins and pins.

The rest of the story... Some of you are going to arrive at the
GZ and find a book and open it and discover that you are not FTF.
Well - in fact - you are. Here is why:
There was another Poway's Lost Button Cache... if you look on
the lid and at the bottom of the cache log you will find the
original code (GC1W6QX). Shortly after placing GC1W6QX I was
emailed by a fellow cacher and they kindly told me that the place I
had just placed my "Buttons" cache on was private property - OOPS!
So I rushed out the door and went and picked up the container but
not before a FTF could be claimed on it. So Tiek00n is the FTF on
the original but because the names are not changing - I am leaving
him as the FTF from the original. So - whoever is the FTF this time
- that my story and I am sticking too... it.
