Geocache Description:

The 3.2 mile long Hike-Bike Pike was developed by Bernheim a few years ago to take advantage of a long narrow strip of land they own on the North side of Highway 245 adjacent to Jim Beam Distillery.  The trail runs along Lick Creek and is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop. If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path.  Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180.

This cache is located up the hill and around a couple bends from the start of the Hike Bike Pike.  Your looking for a  peanut butter jar that's hidden near the trail.

This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of  activity. Details are available at Bernheim.org.
