Geocache Description:

The Nire Valley, County Waterford.

This is the main crossing point of the Nire River when in the further reaches of the valley.

You can head in three directions from here. Southwest will bring you to Ballymacarbry village. Crossing the bridge and heading north over a section of the mountains leads to Clonmel. The road east goes into the highest part of the valley, passing the Nire church on the way up.

You may notice that a small portion of the bridge has different architecture. This section was based on a similar bridge in Austin, Texas.

The cache is a small round camouflaged tupperware box. Please make sure the cache is replaced securely. BYOP.

Note -The safest place to park is probably near the bridge, as the road near the cache is quite narrow.
