A nice place to sit and admire the view on the outskirts of Richmond.
The seat is part of a new section of stone wall that, when the cache was set, had recently been re-built by Richmond Open Spaces Appeal (ROSA) in conjunction with the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. The wall borders three pieces of land owned by the charity - Westfields, Jack Kings Wood and the Nine Acre Field.
The seat provides spectacular views of Richmond Castle and other Richmond Landmarks. Don't forget your camera!
ROSA and local school children have embedded a time capsule in the new stone seat which will be opened in the next 50-75 years.
Please note the cache is not hidden in the dry stone wall or the seat.
Due to nearby tree cover the coordinates are only accurate to about 30 feet. Please use the clue if you need to.
