We created this cache to celebrate the birth of our first
daughter (but second child) and planned it whilst out on our first
stroll with her, aged 10 days. (I returned two days later to
actually place the cache.)
There are two main routes to the cache. The first potential
starting point is at N 51°27.564' W 003°25.249'. There's
likely to be parking nearby, except during busy lunchtimes, in
which case, you can park up on the edge of the common. If you
choose this route, I highly recommend taking an OS map and compass,
as it's not particularly easy, figuring out how to get through
Hollybush Farm (there's electric fence everywhere!). Note also that
the footpath has been recently moved: it no longer goes directly
past the house; rather, when you reach the house, turn to the
right, then left through the first obvious gate.
The second potential starting point is at N 51°27.810'
W 003°24.871', with parking available for one car at these
coordinates. When I first created this cache, the footpath was
boarded up at N 51°27.749' W 003°24.793', but I'm pleased
to say that this route is now accessible.
